May Commencement is the cumulation of years of academic work for Pacific University undergraduate programs. We are proud to celebrate the achievements of our graduating students.

Tickets for May Commencement are free, but are required to ensure ample seating, guest services, materials, and communication.

The morning ceremony (9 a.m.) celebrates graduating undergraduate students in the College of Arts & Sciences (School of Arts & Humanities, School of Natural Sciences, and School of Social Science), College of Business, and the College of Education (School of Learning & Teaching).

• Gates open at 8AM - Ceremony Starts at 9AM
  
• Commencement is outdoors, rain or shine. Please limit use of umbrellas. Disposable ponchos are available at the stadium. Check the weather at the Forest Grove Campus. Weather Information
  
• Pacific University and Forest Grove parks are completely smoke-free areas. Smoking and vaping of any kind is prohibited in Lincoln Park, Hanson Stadium, and on all campus property, including parking lots.
  
• Pets are not allowed in Hanson Stadium. Service animals are welcome.
  
• Campus shuttles, accessible seating, ASL Interpreters, and a captioned live stream of the ceremonies are available for guests. Please see accessibility information for additional details. Accessibility Information
  
• Campus Public Safety and a paramedic are on-site during Commencement. If you need immediate assistance, call 911 and/or hail and usher. If you have other safety concerns, call Campus Public Safety at 503-352-2230.

The afternoon ceremony (1:30 p.m.) celebrates graduate and professional students in the College of Arts & Sciences, College of Business, and the College of Education (School of Communication Sciences & Disorders, and School of Learning & Teaching), College of Health Professions (School of Pharmacy, School of Physical Therapy & Athletic Training, and Doctor of Medical Science), and College of Optometry.
