August Commencement is the cumulation of years of academic and clinical work for Pacific University graduate and professional programs. We are proud to celebrate the achievements of our graduating students.
Tickets for August Commencement are free, but are required to ensure ample seating, guest services, materials, and communication.
The ceremony celebrates graduate and professional students in the College of Health Professions (Schools of Audiology, Dental Hygiene Studies, Graduate Psychology, Healthcare Administration & Leadership, Occupational Therapy, Physician Assistant Studies, and the PhD in Education & Leadership).
- Seating opens at 8:00 a.m. - Ceremony starts at 9:00 a.m.
- Commencement is outdoors, rain or shine. Please limit use of umbrellas. Disposable ponchos are available. Check the weather at the Forest Grove Campus.
- Pacific University is completely smoke free. Smoking and vaping of any kind is prohibited on all campus property, including parking lots.
- Pets are not allowed at commencement. Service animals are welcome.
- Accessible parking, golf cart shuttles, accessible seating, ASL Interpreters, and a captioned live stream of the ceremonies are available for guests. Please review accessibility information for additional details.
